As part of our journey north to see Lake Superior we took a side trip to Tahquamenon Falls State Park (with the dogs). Considering how badly behaved the dogs can be they were angles. We walked them along a busy boardwalk path through the forest for 1/4 mile to the lower falls view points and back without an outburst. All in all it was a very pleasant experience.
Paige and Dave Good to hear from you! Scott mentioned you in his blog but I did not know it was "you". Are there others we know out there blogging? I am new to this, but guys are using the blog for exactly what Ithought would be fun, documenting travels and adventures.
I am planning on retiring in Jan. I want to cruise in the boat, travel to the Rocky mountain states and Alaska. My bucket list is getting loooong!
When we first started out on the road, we kept kind of a diary of where we went and what we saw. We thought it might be fun to take our diary to the next level. We hope our family and friends will enjoy it and it will help them to keep track of where the heck we are!
We are retired and lived in our motorhome from 2005-2012. Dave is retired from the Federal Government and I am just retired.
Dave rides his Harley and I knit, spin and dye fiber. We have two great kids, one on either side of the country. Our daughter is on the West Coast, and our son and his wife are on the east coast. We try to divide our time between the two but probably fail.

Your dogs are always well behaved, well, they are always ... oh, never mind.
